TUALATIN, OR (KPTV) -
Residents of a home at SW 106th Avenue and Pueblo Street were away when a fire ignited at about 3 a.m., causing significant damage.
A Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue spokesman says neighbors awoke to crackling and popping noises. Drivers on Tualatin Road, which runs behind the house, reported seeing large flames and smoke. A power line running from the back of the home was also on fire.
Firefighters brought the flames under control in about 20 minutes. They made their way inside to search for possible victims and confirmed that the home was unoccupied.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
