PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
The search is on for a man and a boy who robbed a specialty shop in north Portland. Police say the man held the female worker down while the boy stole the money.
At about 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, the man and the boy were together when they walked into the "The Meadow," a specialty shop at 3731 North Mississippi.
The victim told police that the man grabbed her, pinned her arms down and covered her mouth. Police say he threatened to hurt her if she yelled.
While the man was holding the victim, the boy went behind the counter, opened the register, and stole an undisclosed amount of money. Both suspects then took off on foot.
The adult suspect is described as an African-American male, 20-30 years old, 5'10" to 6' tall, medium build, wearing all black clothes. The youth is described as an African-American male, approximately 10 years old, 4'5" to 4'8" tall, brown shirt and blue jeans.
