TUALATIN, OR (KPTV) -
An early morning fire displaced nearly two dozen people at a Tualatin senior care facility.
No one was hurt. Staff worked quickly to evacuate 23 people due to heavy smoke in the building.
When fire crews arrived about 1:30 a.m., they found the fire in a dryer in a laundry room at the Farmington Square Senior Care Community at SW 115th Avenue in Tualatin.
There was no structural damage to the building, but there was significant smoke.
Twenty-three people were living in the memory care unit were moved to another building on the property.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
