PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Police arrested two people accused of robbing a coffee barista in Northeast Portland.
Officers took Donny Roy Hizey, 32, and Jennifer Tsouvas, 42, into custody Sunday night. According to investigators, they robbed a worker at Bikini Barista Coffee, located at 8102 Northeast Killingsworth St. at 2:37 p.m. Sunday.
Witnesses told officers about a white Sedan driving erratically on Killingsworth. The car turned into a nearby apartment complex and the pair got out and ran off.
Police chased the suspects, and eventually arrested them. Investigators recovered money taken during the robbery, as well as the victim's purse. A BB gun used in the robbery was also found in the suspect's car.
Hizey was charged with second-degree robbery. Tsouvas also faces second-degree robbery charges, as well as first-degree burglary, assaulting a public safety officer and resisting arrest charges.
Both were booked into the Multnomah County Jail.
