A Tualatin neighborhood is shaken after thieves tied up two homeowners and ransacked their house.
Neighbors of the couple called police to report the burglary.
Investigators say thieves were inside the home on SW Crow Way near SW 104th Avenue Sunday afternoon, when the homeowners returned. Police say the couple discovered the thieves, who then overpowered them and tied them up.
Investigators say the thieves ran from the house and jumped into a waiting van, described as a newer model, dark in color with Texas license plates.
The couple was able to get free of the binding and walked outside. Neighbors tell Fox 12 they saw the couple walk out shortly after seeing four men leave and called police.
Heather Meader said, "The owners came out, and they were physically shaken up, and the lady was just going into shock. They tied them up. She still had rope around her wrist. He had marks on his head where he had been tied up."
The homeowners were not hurt, but were taken to a hospital for evaluation.
