NEAR BURNS, OR (KPTV) -
Oregon State Police are investigating the death of Phillip Lloyd Ferguson.
An autopsy into the May 30 death has confirmed that he died from a self-inflicted single gunshot wound to the head by a small caliber firearm.
He was found near Burns in Harney County.
OSP detectives, with the assistance of the Harney County District Attorney's Office, are completing the investigation.
The 62-year-old was sought by the FBI in relation to a fraud investigation in Indiana several years ago.
In 2004, America's Most Wanted highlighted the case and the search for Ferguson.
