PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

The woman accused of killing a woman with her car on West Burnside in March is currently in Seattle, at the King County Jail.

Ashley Chavez, 23, has waived extradition and is expected to be back in Portland soon to face a judge.

Chavez is the alleged driver in the hit-and-run death of Nancy Schoeffler, 63, who was killed on the night of March 31st after being struck near the 2800 block of West Burnside.  Police say she and a friend were at a Timbers game at Jeld-Wen Field prior to the crash.

The Multnomah County Circuit Court issued a warrant for Ashley Chavez' arrest on May 29, 2012 for manslaughter.

Chavez was arrested by U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Bellingham, Washington on June 1st while she was leaving a restaurant.

Three other people are facing charges of hindering prosecution in the case. Police say Angela Dawn Kaps-Collins was a passenger in Chavez' vehicle at the time of the crash. Ashley's brother, Josh Chavez, and her boyfriend, Chris Rhea, were also taken into custody.
