U of P coach arrested on domestic violence charges

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A University of Portland assistant basketball coach is facing domestic violence and harassment charges, according to the Portland Police Bureau.

Police arrested Eric Jackson, 38, over the weekend following a criminal investigation, detectives said.

Jackson is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges Monday afternoon.

No other details about the investigation were provided.

According to the University of Portland website, Jackson was hired in 2006, and has been active in recruitment and player development.
