PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Portland police are asking the public to help them find a missing elderly woman who might be suffering from dementia and other health-related issues.
Helen Lavelle, 77, was last known to be at her home in the 4900 block of Northeast Killingsworth Street.
The woman's family called police after noticing the woman and her car were not at the home.
They say Lavelle gets confused and might have gotten lost.
She has medical conditions that need attention.
Lavelle is white, about 5'6" tall and weighs 150 pounds.
Her family says she currently weighs about 30 pounds less than her DMV picture shows.
She has curly hair, blue eyes and often wears glasses.
Lavelle is believed to have left her home in her white 1993 Subaru Legacy.
