PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
A man was arrested after police said they caught him stealing from a Portland sports store.
Police responded to a report of a burglary in progress at Athletes Lounge at 2671 Northwest Vaughn St. early Wednesday morning.
Once on scene, officers set up a perimeter around the store and used a loud speaker to hail anyone inside to come out. Daniel Scott, 26, responded to the call and was taken into custody once he came outside.
Police said that Scott had already removed several high-end bicycles before they arrived. Once he was arrested, they returned the property to the Athletes Lounge.
Scott now faces charges of burglary, criminal mischief and aggravated theft. His bail was set at $90,000.
