PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Portland police sex crimes detectives hope a new sketch can help track down a man who sexually assaulted a woman at Rocky Butte Park last week.
The woman was exercising at the park on the afternoon of June 7 when she was attacked. Police said the woman was sexually assaulted but was able get away from the attacker and call 911.
Officers responded about 3:30 p.m. and searched the area with a K-9. They found no sign of a suspect.
The attacker is described as 5'10", 250 pounds and in his 40s. He has muscular shoulders, a fat stomach, brown, greasy, scraggly hair and a long, brown beard. His nose was described as bigger with a crooked tip.
At the time of the crime, he wore an over-sized gray T-shirt and black sweat pants.
Crime Stoppers is offering $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
