Kayaker dies despite rescue efforts - KPTV - FOX 12

A kayak accident turned deadly in Skamania County.
Deputies said a 45-year-old woman was kayaking on the Little White Salmon River on Saturday afternoon when something happened and she needed help.
Emergency crews performed CPR, but she died at the scene. They had to call in Vancouver Fire's technical rescue team so they could recover the woman's body.
She was reportedly with a group of other kayakers when the incident happened.
Deputies are trying to figure out the circumstances surrounding her death.
