A man accused of breaking into a northeast Portland home and then touching himself pleaded not guilty to several charges, including sex abuse, burglary and strangulation.
Juan Carlos Lagunas-Garcia appeared in court Monday. He was arrested June 8 in connection with a break-in on May 31 on Northeast Davis Street in Portland. Detectives say DNA evidence led to his arrest.
Lagunas-Garcia is also accused of confronting two teenage girls in their bedrooms last year. In all three cases, investigators said he got in through open windows.
His trial is scheduled to begin on July 31.
