Portlanders are lucky enough to live in one of the world's best cheap places to visit.
That's according to a new report from Yahoo travel.
The website says that Portland is a traveler's delight because it won't cost them too much to have a good time.
The report says that Portland is considered one of America's hottest food cities, and coupled with outdoor activities, it's tough to beat.
If you're looking to travel outside the Portland Metro area, Yahoo lists a number of other low priced options.
The party atmosphere, live music and food truck scene in Austin, Texas earns it high marks for budget-conscious travelers.
New Orleans, Nashville and Detroit are also worth checking out, Yahoo says.
International locations recommended by Yahoo include Berlin, Germany, La-Paz, Bolivia and Guilin, China.
