A jogger in Vancouver said she fought back after she was groped by a teenage boy.
Priscilla Dang told Fox 12 she was running along Padden Parkway near Andresen Road last Friday evening when she was attacked from behind.
"I realized what happened, and I went after the guy that groped me," said Dang. "Pretty much what I wanted was to confront them, and let them know it's not okay, not right."
Dang, who said she has a background in martial arts, said the confrontation became physical. She said she was also verbally harassed by the teens.
Another person passing by saw the situation and stopped to break it up, according to the Clark County Sheriff's Office, whose deputies were called to the scene.
The 18-year-old suspect involved was booked on a charge of assault in the fourth degree, a misdemeanor, according to a sheriff's spokesman. The 16-year-old boy was released to his parents, and charges will be considered by a juvenile prosecutor.
No one was hurt. The Sheriff's Office urges people to avoid physical confrontation with suspects.
