TROUTDALE, OR (KPTV) -
A car went off a local highway and right into the Sandy River.
It happened at 4:30 p.m. Thursday on the Historic Columbia River Highway in Troutdale.
Deputies said everyone inside the car was able to make their way out of the water and back up to the road safely. No one was seriously hurt.
The car, however, was not so fortunate.
The Subaru Outback had to be pulled out of the river by a tow truck.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
