Police have released security camera video that captured an armed robbery at a Gresham hotel, hoping someone will recognize the suspect.
Investigators said the robber walked into the Pony Soldier Hotel at 1060 Northeast Cleveland Ave. between 2:15 and 2:30 p.m. last Thursday.
The man pointed a gun at the front desk clerk and demanded cash. The suspect then took off with a handful of money. Investigators said he was last seen running into the parking lot of Knechts Automotive across the street.
The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 5'6", and in his early 30s.
Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to call the Gresham Police Department at 503-618-2365.
