VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -
Clark County sheriff's deputies are on the hunt for a bank robber.
Deputies responded to the West Coast Bank on NE Highway 99 in Salmon Creek just after 9:30 a.m. Monday. Deputies said he handed the bank teller a note demanding money then took off on foot.
He's described as a middle-aged, white, adult male, heavy-set, about 5'6", weighing about 230 pounds, with short brown hair. Deputies said he was wearing light blue jeans, a blue denim jacket over a gray T-Shirt, and mirrored sunglasses. Surveillance pictures show the suspect carrying a gray and white soft-side lunch box.
Deputies searched the area but came up empty handed. Anyone with information about the robber is asked to call 911 immediately.
