PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Locals with dreams of seeing themselves on the small screen now have the chance to be part of IFC's "Portlandia."
The Portland-based comedy is hiring extras to appear in its third season.
Casting directors said they are looking for quote "everyone and their grandma" to be on the show.
However, they warned that being an extra usually takes all day, and people can be called in on very short notice, so it helps to be unemployed.
Anyone chosen must also be able to produce the documents needed to fill out the IRS's I-9 and W-4 forms.
Extra roles pay $70 a day.
