Which Portland spot made TripAdvisor's list of favorite U.S. restaurants?

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A Portland restaurant is included in a top 10 favorites list picked by the users of TripAdvisor.com.

Screen Door, located on East Burnside Street, is known for its Southern-style cuisine in the Rose City.

It placed 10th on the TripAdvisor list of favorite U.S. restaurants.

Editors for the website say in all, 576 restaurants around the world were honored.

Awards went to those offering dinner and table service, and travelers chose everything from well-known chain restaurants to more upscale fine dining establishments. TripAdvisor says travelers prefer consistency along with outstanding service and quality.

One Seattle restaurant, Toulouse Petit, also made the top 10.

The number one spot went to Le Bernardin in New York City.
