Body found in NE Portland

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Police are investigating the discovery of a woman's body in northeast Portland.

Someone found the body on the train tracks between I-84 and NE Broadway Street Tuesday afternoon.

Investigators said the woman's death appears to be related to a drug overdose.

The state medical examiner is expected to perform an autopsy sometime this week to determine an official cause of death.

Police have not released the woman's name.
