PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A woman who is accused of stabbing her boyfriend in southeast Portland was found hiding in a restaurant, police said.

Officers responded to the stabbing at 526 SE Grand Ave. at about 2:36 p.m. That's when the 37-year-old man told officers that he was stabbed by his girlfriend.

As the victim was taken to an area hospital to be treated for serious injuries, officers saw the suspect enter Le Bistro Montage restaurant at Southeast Third Avenue and Morrison Street.

Police locked down the building and searched it with a K-9. They eventually found the woman hiding in a rear storage room and took her into custody.

A knife was also recovered, police said.

The 32-year-old female's name hasn't been released. Domestic Violence officers are still investigating.
