SALEM, OR (KPTV) -
Salem police are looking for a man and a woman who stole property from a motel room at the La Quinta Inn.
Detectives say in happened on June 2, just after 10 a.m. at the motel on 890 Hawthorne Ave. SE.
The victim was a baseball coach from out of town who had left the room door propped open on the night latch, so that he and his assistants could load sports equipment.
Police say the couple brazenly went into the room as the victim was loading his vehicle and stole items.
Detectives believe surveillance photos of the suspects and the vehicle they were operating should help bring in tips as to who they are.
If you recognize the people in these photos or the white Ford Pickup with an unknown logo on the door and tailgate, you are asked to call Detective Tom Johnson at (503) 540-2358.
