Police investigate shattered windows at 2 Vancouver businesses

VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

Vancouver Police are trying to figure out if there's any connection between reports of vandalism at two businesses along Main Street.

Officers told FOX 12 at the scene that a jogger passing through the area Thursday morning called police after seeing broken glass on the front window of Aurora Gallery, which is located on Main Street between 11thand Evergreen.

Some jewelry and art was stolen, the owner said. She hasn't done an entire inventory of her business yet, but told FOX 12 it appears as if several thousand dollars worth of items were stolen.

Police say there were no signs of any rocks or bricks inside the business, so they don't know what was used to break the window.

Less than two blocks away, the front window of Charlies Bistro had also been shattered.

If you have any information about the two crimes, you're asked to call Vancouver Police.
