PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
A woman who is accused of stabbing her boyfriend in southeast Portland was found hiding in a restaurant, police said.
Officers responded to the stabbing at 526 SE Grand Ave. at about 2:36 p.m. That's when police said Aaron Dugan told officers that he was stabbed by his girlfriend, Elizabeth Miller.
As Dugan was taken to an area hospital to be treated for serious injuries, officers said Miller tried to hide out in Le Bistro Montage restaurant at Southeast Third Avenue and Morrison Street.
Police locked down the building and searched it with a K-9. They eventually found Miller hiding in a rear storage room and took her into custody.
A knife was also recovered, police said.
Domestic Violence officers are still investigating.
Miller is charged with assault in the second and fourth degrees, unlawful use of a weapon, and harassment.
