VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

Sure, free-falling gas prices across the United States are making it cheaper to fill up, but one woman found what might be the cheapest gas in the entire country.

An employee at the Orchards Market at 5620 NE Gher Rd. said someone inputted the wrong price on one of the gas pumps, and the station briefly sold gas for 35 cents per gallon.

A FOX 12 viewer contacted our newsroom to report the mind-blowing deal. She shared a photo of the price shortly after her friend finished filling up their car. For 26 gallons of gas, she paid a mere $9.38.

At first, she thought it was a one-day promotion associated with a radio station.

As soon as the mistake was discovered by the gas station employees, it was corrected.

The average price of a gallon of gas in Vancouver is $3.65. In Portland, it's $3.73.
