PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
The Portland-Milwaukie Light Rail Bridge began its second year of construction Monday, and is now 41 percent complete.
The last concrete pour for the final, drilled foundation shaft will be completed on Tuesday. To date, 64 different companies have contributed work to the project.
The Westside of the bridge is also taking shape, as work now moves from a marine operation to a land-based/crane construction operation above water.
Overall, work on the 7.3-mile line has created 1,525 jobs, TriMet officials said.
