If you see tsunami debris on the Oregon coast, you may have trouble getting it cleaned up.
Oregon Parks and Recreation reported it is having trouble with its new tsunami debris hotline. The hotline went live last week, however the department said the 211 number is not working in parts of Clatsop County. They are working to fix the problem but until it is repaired you can report beach debris by calling 1-800-SAFENET.
You can also drop off any debris at the 32 different drop sites now open along the coast.
