Man, 70, dies of injuries after being hit by car in SE Portland - KPTV - FOX 12

A 70-year-old man died of injuries he suffered when he was struck by a car Monday night in southeast Portland.
It happened just after 9 p.m. on Southeast 82nd Avenue near Insley Street.
The driver, 25-year-old Spencer Snow, stopped and remained at the scene. He showed no signs of being under the influence.
Officers said Snow had been driving north on 82nd Avenue when he struck the victim, who was crossing the street from the west side and was not in a crosswalk.
Police said the pedestrian was rushed to the hospital and he later died there.
The northbound lanes of 82nd Avenue from Foster Road to Raymond Street were closed down Monday night while investigators were at the crash scene.
