Dallas city manager resigns after investigation

DALLAS, OR (KPTV) -

The city manager of Dallas resigned after an investigation into his performance.

Mayor Brian Dalton made the announcement on Monday that Jerry Wyatt would no longer be performing his duties.

City staff members brought up their concerns surrounding allegations of inappropriate handling of city financial matters to police several days ago.

A comprehensive, two-week long investigation by police is in progress.

Police are working closely with both District Attorney Stan Butterfield and Chief Deputy District Attorney Jennifer Gaddis.
