FOREST GROVE, OR (KPTV) -
An Oregon City man died after falling of the cliff behind his home into the Clackamas River.
It happened just after 2:30 Monday afternoon near South Stevens Road.
Rescue crews rushed to save Scott Anderson, 64, after the 80-foot fall.
Sadly, he had already died by the time rescuers arrived.
State records show that Anderson was a well-known dentist across the region. He had practices in Portland, Tualatin and Redmond.
The Clackamas County medical examiner will perform an autopsy to figure out exactly how Anderson died.
Deputies are working to determine how Anderson fell off the cliff.
