NEWPORT, OR (KPTV) -
The Coast Guard is looking for a missing crab fisherman off the Oregon Coast after a fishing boat sank early Tuesday.
There were four men on board the Sound Leader fishing boat when the Coast Guard first got word of trouble on board at about 5 a.m.
Rescuers sent a lifeboat and a helicopter to the sinking boat's location about 2 1/2 miles west of Newport.
They found three people in the water. A helicopter crew hoisted two survivors from the water, and a lifeboat crew rescued a third man.
Crews are continuing to search for the fourth fisherman, but as of 11:45 a.m., they had not found him.
