Police investigate armed robbery at mobile home park

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

An armed robbery in a northeast Portland trailer park has neighbors on edge.

Police say three armed gunmen stormed into a trailer at about 7:30 a.m. at the Cedar Shade Mobile Home Park and demanded money and drugs.

Security cameras two trailers away from the incident got a very good look at the suspects and the car they came in.

Police say three men walked up to the door of this mobile home.  Inside was a woman and her two young children.  When the men got inside, they pulled out guns and demanded money and drugs. The victim told police that there were no drugs in the home and the three got away with money, a laptop and some jewelry.

The suspects spent just over 10 minutes inside, and then they ran from the trailer back to their silver SUV.

"Portland's kind of scary sometimes," said neighbor Leeandra Brocker.  "I try not to look at it that way because you can live in fear or you can look at it as, maybe we need to start watching out for one another a little bit more."

The suspects are three young men between 19 and 20 years old.  One of the men is described as Hispanic, and all were armed with handguns.

This is a Crime Stoppers case.  If you have any information that leads to an arrest and conviction, you could receive a $1,000 reward.
