VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -
A SWAT standoff came to an end Wednesday morning when officers arrested a man inside a Vancouver home.
Vancouver police said they responded to a report of a disturbance with a weapon at 3606 M Street at about 4:30 a.m.
Witnesses said two men and two women were inside the home when a fight broke out. One of the two men pulled out a gun, and the rest of the people inside then left the home safely.
Officers said the remaining man, later identified as 22-year-old Kurtis Rosenstiel, refused to come out of the house.
At about 6:40 a.m., the SW Washington Regional SWAT team made contact with Rosenstiel inside and took him into custody.
Rosenstiel is now in the Clark County Jail.
