SALEM, OR (KPTV) -
A two-car crash in southeast Salem trapped one driver in his 2003 Ford Taurus on Wednesday morning.
Salem police are still investigating what led up to the crash at Commercial Street Southeast and Wiltsey Road Southeast at about 1:45 a.m.
Firefighters removed 42-year-old Mark Hannon from his car when they arrived at the scene. They rushed Hannon to Salem Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition with life-threatening injuries Wednesday.
The other driver, 38-year-old Justin Bohnstedt, suffered minor injuries in the wreck. He was driving a 2011 Chevy Silverado.
Salem police haven't released information about what caused the crash. They shut down Commercial Street for hours to allow for an investigation Wednesday morning.
