Oregon City Police searching for Bread Rack Bandits

OREGON CITY, OR (KPTV) -

Oregon City Police are searching for two suspected metal thieves they have dubbed the Bread Rack Bandits.

They stole several metal bread racks valued at more than $1,000 from the Oregon City Albertson's store on Beavercreek Road on Monday.

The suspect's vehicle, a red-and-white 1987 Ford F-250 pickup with Oregon plates 451FEW, as captured on surveillance video during the theft, police said.

Investigators said the two men are suspects in several other metal thefts throughout the Clackamas County area.

The public is urged to contact the Oregon City Police Department Tip Line at 503-496-1616 if they have any information.
