Police say armed robber held up motel on 82nd Avenue

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland police are trying to track down an armed man who held up a motel.

Police say it happened on Wednesday at about 3:15 p.m. when a man armed with a gun walked into the Madison Motel office at 3620 Northeast 82^nd Avenue.

No word if he threatened anyone or got away with any cash.

Police arrived shortly after the report. They blocked streets in the area and searched the neighborhood with K-9 officers.

The robber is still on the loose.
