SALEM, OR (KPTV) -
A Salem woman accused of swindling millions of dollars from the state of Oregon is back behind bars.
Krystle Reyes was taken back into custody after a court hearing on Thursday.
Authorities booked Reyes into jail last month, but she was released because of overcrowding.
Reyes is charged with multiple crimes, including aggravated theft and tax evasion.
Investigators said she filed a fake tax return and claimed the state owed her a $2.1 million refund.
The state issued her a Visa debit card with that amount.
Detectives said she spent $150,000 before losing the card.
