VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -
A man who was wanted on multiple counts of child rape was arrested in Vancouver on Thursday.
Vancouver police received a tip that Mark Lunde was in the city and they detained him in the area of 104th Avenue and Mill Plain Boulevard about 6 p.m.
They called Camas police officers, who responded to the county jail and arrested him on multiple felony sex crimes.
Lunde now faces multiple counts of child rape and child pornography. He's being held in the Clark County Jail.
Camas officers first issued an alert to media about Lunde back in May, when they described him as a transient who lived in the area of East Clark County and Fern Prairie.
Lunde has prior misdemeanor convictions on drugs and driving offenses.
