
Multnomah County Sheriff's Office detectives are working to identify the body of a woman found in the Willamette River in Portland.
The crew of the Portland Spirit spotted the body at around 12:20 a.m. Saturday morning near Port of Portland's Terminal Two, north of the Fremont Bridge.
Crews took the adult woman's body to the River Patrol office.
Multnomah county detectives are handling the investigation.
They turned the body over to the county medical examiner's office.
There's no word on how she died.
Deputies are not releasing any additional information while they try and figure out who the woman was and then notify her family.
