Two suffer serious injuries in crash on Marine Drive

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A car and pickup truck collided on Marine Drive in Portland on Monday afternoon.

Portland police said drivers of both vehicles suffered serious injuries and were rushed by paramedics to hospitals. The driver of the car suffered injuries that were described as "possibly life-threatening."

Officers responded to the 7700 block of Marine Drive about 2:15 p.m. after getting word of the crash.

The police bureau's major crash team is trying to determine what led up to the crash at Leadbetter Road.
