Close call at Hillsboro Airport - KPTV - FOX 12

A Bellevue, WA, couple walked away from a close call after their single-engine plane skidded off the runway at the Hillsboro Airport Monday afternoon.
The pilot and his wife said they were coming in for a landing when he had to make a last minute adjustment to avoid hitting another plane. The plane then pitched to the left and slid into the grass on the side of the runway. No one was hurt, but the landing gear was badly damaged.
The FAA is investigating the crash.
