MILWAUKIE, OR (KPTV) -
Clackamas County detectives are hoping the public can help them track down the person who killed a Milwaukie woman at her apartment.
Deputies found Michelle Walker's body after they were called to the apartment near the intersection of Roethe Road and McLoughlin Boulevard on Saturday night. That's after Walker's mother had called 911 to report something suspicious at her daughter's apartment.
A neighbor said screams were heard coming from Walker's apartment on Saturday.
Investigators still aren't saying how Walker died.
Neighbor Bill Mauk described Walker's death as "unbelievable."
"Just devastating to everybody in here," Mauk said. "She was a nice lady."
There's no word on any possible suspects.
