Chalk up another "best of" list to Portland. The Heathman Hotel is getting a big honor.
Travel + Leisure magazine has ranked the historic Portland landmark among the top 50 Large City Hotels in the Continental U.S.
Ranking 46 on the list, the Heathman has also made the list in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009. The Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards ranks hotels based on reader surveys.
The Heathman Hotel was built in 1927 and has held another distinction, the AAA Four Diamond designation for 26 consecutive years.
