Former Blazer Channing Frye donates $10K to Children's Cancer Association

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Former Portland Trail Blazer Channing Frye paid a visit to Randall Children's Hospital Tuesday to present a $10,000 check to the Children's Cancer Association.

The money was raised last year at Kick for Kids, an annual kickball tournament in southeast Portland organized by The Frye Family Foundation.

During his visit, Frye signed autographs for young patients and their families, and even sang karaoke with patients as part of the CCA's Music Rx program.

This year's Kick for Kids tournament takes place at Lents Park in southeast Portland on Saturday, July 21 at 9 a.m. Proceeds will once again benefit the CCA.
