NEAR BURNS, OR (KPTV) -
A massive wildfire has burned at least 45,000 acres in Southeast Oregon, according to Bureau of Land Management officials.
The fire, burning near Burns Junction, was sparked by lightning, investigators said.
As a result of the fire, traffic on Highway 95 was shut down, and an Oregon Department of Transportation station was evacuated, firefighters reported.
A smaller fire in Southeast Oregon has burned at least 2,800 acres of land, officials said.
