PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland Police Bureau Homicide detectives continue to investigate the death of an unidentified woman who was found last month.

The City of Portland Park Rangers located the remains of the young female in Washington Park on Tuesday, June 26.

Although the Oregon State Medical Examiner performed an autopsy, her identity and cause of death are still undetermined.

Investigators say the young woman is described as a white or mixed race, in her teens or early 20s, approximately 5' tall and 100 lbs, with long, black hair.

They have also released a photo of the logo that she was wearing on her sweatshirt in hopes that someone would recognize it.

Investigators say that this is a suspicious death and that the woman was likely a transient.

Evidence at the scene indicated that there may have been other campers in the area that could possibly assist in the investigation.

Officers are looking for any information about the identity of the woman.
