Fire damages apartment in Hillsboro - KPTV - FOX 12

Fire and Rescue crews went to the Windhaven Apartments in Hillsboro on Wednesday to put out a deck fire.
At about 1 p.m., both Hillsboro and Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue teams found a working fire on an apartment deck on the third floor of the complex.
The fire spread only a short distance inside the apartment until the sprinkler system activated and helped to stop the fire from spreading further.
Fire crews had the fire out within 12 minutes, and no injuries were involved.
The family who lives in the apartment was not home during the fire, so the cause is still under investigation.
