Memorial scheduled for victims in Dundee murder-suicide case

DUNDEE, OR (KPTV) -

A memorial service has been scheduled for the victims in a murder-suicide investigation in Dundee.

Investigators say Randall Engels killed his wife and two children on July 4.

Autopsies showed they died of gunshot wounds to the head; Randall Engels' wound was self-inflicted, according to police.

A memorial service will be held for Amy Engels and her two children this Saturday at George Fox University. It will be in the Bauman auditorium at 11 a.m.

Weeks before the murder-suicide, court documents reveal Amy Engels not only filed a divorce petition, but asked for a temporary custody order, saying her children were in "immediate danger."
