PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Police made use of their search and rescue crews in Washington Park on Thursday morning in an effort to find any evidence that could help identify the woman who was found dead there last month.
The City of Portland Park Rangers located the remains of the young female in Washington Park on Tuesday, June 26.
Even after the autopsy was performed she still could not be identified, which has pushed investigators to dig deeper for answers.
The search and rescue teams searched through the cluttered homeless camps in the park in hopes of finding items or belongings that would be helpful to learning her identity.
There's no word yet on whether there have been strides made in the identification of the woman, but her death is still being considered suspicious.
